100% of your donation goes directly to the artists and musicians when you send a check directly to us. 98% of your donation is received by artists when you make a credit card donation. (Paypal takes 2% from your credit card donation for administrative costs).  We take no salary or benefit from LifeAwaits' mission to help rebuild the music and art communities in New Orleans. This is a volunteer effort. 

Your donation also supports the local New Orleans economy. We direct the artists to purchase from pre-screened local music stores, artist supply stores, and photography businesses.
